2 cases of hypnotic regression

WARSAW, Poland—I just had two extraordinary cases of clients who came to me for past life hypnotic regression. I have changed their names to protect their privacy.

Rina, 40, is a tall, attractive woman who works as a receptionist in a small service company. Over dinner the previous evening before I did regression on her, I asked her if she has had a traumatic experience in childhood and she said, no. She asked why the question?

“Because your eyes look sad,” I told her, she just smiled. “Why are you always serious and quiet?” I asked her again, and she said she has always been like that, but she also said she had a happy childhood.

The next day, I was surprised that she wanted me to do a regression on her because she didn’t believe in reincarnation or past lives. So I told her, “Let us just chat for a while and see what happens. Let’s not do regression right away.”

As customary with me, I never do outright regression even when requested to do so. I first ask why a client wants to be regressed and then I also ask the client’s subconscious mind if it will permit us to do this. If the client’s subconscious mind says no, I don’t proceed with the regression. I do this with a simple technique using finger movements.

Past life in ancient Rome
Quite unexpectedly, Rina went into relaxation very fast and her subconscious mind cooperated fully. It answered right away and allowed me to put her into a deeper state of hypnosis.
In the regression she saw herself as a young woman of 20 in ancient Rome waiting for her lover who was out at sea.

A storm developed and the boat capsized drowning everybody inside. The next scene she saw was of her lover lying dead being watched by a large crowd. She cried.

The next scene was still in Rome and this time she had another lover. But he was accused of a serious crime and she saw him surrounded by a big crowd watching his execution. She saw her lover being beheaded. The colors red and blue were vivid in her memory.

The next scene, she was looking out the window waiting for her lover to come but he never did.
I asked her to go to the time of her death. How did she die? She said she jumped out of the window into the sea and drowned.

During her present life, Rina is always waiting for her true love. Her current boyfriend is in jail accused of a crime. She is afraid of water that’s why she never learned how to swim. She loves to wear golden armbands or bracelets just like Roman women did in the past and Rina has Romanesque features.

She said what she saw were so vivid it really shocked her. For a long time after I woke her up, she just sat there on the chair immobilized. I had to tap her shoulder three times before she could completely get out of trance.

“Now,” she said, “I understand why I am like this. Thank you very much.”

Depossession process
The second case was not a regression, although that was what she came to me for. It was more a case of depossession, that is, the removal of a benign entity that attached itself to her without her knowing it.

Let’s call her Anna, 55, and a psychotherapist by profession. She came to me for consultation she said, because she was slowly losing control of her life, somebody is controlling her and she thinks it’s her lover whom she wanted to separate from but could not.

Anna has been separated from her husband for a long time now. Her daughter acted as interpreter. I asked since when she noticed her life changing and her being out of control, she said “about a month or two ago.”

I asked her what happened to her during that time. She couldn’t think of anything special, except that she had been trying to get away from this relationship with a man for years now, because she felt it was a destructive relationship.

During my attempt to talk to her subconscious mind, it would not cooperate. It responded negatively to the question of whether it would allow us to probe into her past life. Then I asked if it would allow this to be done later. Again, it said, no. Then I asked if something was blocking it, and it said, yes. Is it her mind? It replied, no.

I thought for a moment what to do next. Then I suddenly asked, “Is it a spirit that’s blocking this?” It said, yes. That was a breakthrough! I knew then what to do. I said, “I want to speak directly to the spirit within Anna’s body.” To my relief it said, yes.

“Are you a relative of this woman?” It said, no. “How long have you been with her? Have you been with her a long time?” It said, no. Then I asked, “One month?” No, “One and a half months?” Yes.

Then I told the spirit that he no longer belongs to the earth plane, that he should seek the light in the spirit world. There are relatives of his waiting for him.

“Look for the light,” I said. “Can you see a light? It said, yes. “Good,” I said. “Then go towards the light and leave this woman in peace. She has suffered enough. Are you willing to do this?” It said, yes. Go now into the light and be at peace.”

After a few moments, I woke up the client. She was completely amazed. I told her that the spirit would not bother her anymore. It will not be controlling her life. She will regain control over herself. She was so relieved but asked what she should do when it comes back. “How can I protect myself from such entities?”

I told her to strengthen her will power. She will be able to end the destructive relationship she has with the man she wants to leave, now that the entity has stopped controlling her. It is significant to note that she began feeling that she was losing control of her life at the time the entity or spirit entered her body. This confirmed it was the spirit, which was behind her losing control of herself, not the man she wanted to separate from.

She came out of the room with a big smile on her face, quite a contrast from when she entered it.

Nothing happens by chance?

POZNAN, Poland—Do you believe in coincidences, meaningful simultaneous events that do not seem to have any causal connection?

I don’t, because everything has a cause, nothing happens by chance. Yet it is a fact that certain events do happen without apparent causal connection.

We were having dinner last Jan. 30 at the house of Anna, a Polish interior designer, where I was staying in Poznan. At the dinner table were the officers and staff of the Institute of Valeology who had invited me to conduct my seminars in Poznan and Warsaw, namely, Irena, Andre and Thomas.

With us were two other house guests of Anna: Gilbert Renaud of Canada and Marie-Jinette Rheault from southern France who conduct seminars on Total Biology.

We talked about the group of followers of the Bulgarian mystic, Mikhael Ivanhov, in Jeffrey, British Columbia in Canada. The place was called IDEAL Ranch led by Russian immigrant Natasha Kolesar. I stayed for a week in that ranch about five years ago upon the invitation of a Canadian named Mr. Couto. I didn’t know that Gilbert and Marie-Jinette had also stayed there for a much longer period, and so did Irena Galinska, head of the Institute of Valeology.

“I was told that there was a Filipino who stayed in the ranch,” said Gilbert to me. “I didn’t realize it was you!”

“What a coincidence, isn’t it?” I said. “Imagine all of us who had been to that ranch in Jeffrey meeting here in Poznan!”

The IDEAL Ranch was a community of around 40 to 60 people from different countries who were studying and applying the teachings of Mikhael Ivanhov.

I told the group at dinner what happened to me the first time I joined the members in an early morning ritual to greet the rising sun. The group would sit facing the East and wait for the sun to rise over the Rocky Mountains. As soon as the first rays of the sun appeared over the horizon, they would all stand up and raise their right hands in salute to the sun.

As I did the same gesture, I told the group that I had a distinct feeling that I had done this ritual before as a monk in ancient Egypt. I was shocked at the memory of it. It was as if I was transported back to Egypt.

When Gilbert heard that, he smiled at me and said that he had been told that the teachings of his master, Mikhael Ivanhov, are a restatement of the rituals and teachings of ancient Egypt told in modern language. I didn’t know that.

Egyptian monk
I was told in 1979 by an extraordinary Filipina psychic (now dead) and in 1984 by an entity from the upper 5th dimension that I had been an Egyptian monk and scribe, a keeper of esoteric wisdom 3,500 years ago during the time of Ramses II. This was told to me at a time when I didn’t believe in reincarnation.

I asked Gilbert and Marie-Jinette whether they heard from the people staying at the IDEAL Ranch what happened to me there. And they said no.

I told them that on the second day of my stay, something extraordinary happened to me. I was staying in a room formerly occupied by Marie Christine La Foret who had a newborn. When I arrived, they moved to a bigger room in the same house.

That early morning, as I was lying in bed on my side facing the wall, I distinctly “saw” with my mind’s eye a man wearing a brown leather jacket enter my room. He stood beside my bed, looking at me intently. I didn’t open my eyes and I thought I was dreaming, yet I knew I was awake. I thought the man was Mr. Couto because he had the same build and height, only slightly slimmer. A few moments later, the man turned toward the door and went through it without opening it. It was then I realized it was not a living person.

Later that morning, I asked Mr. Couto if he came to my room earlier. And he said he did not. I asked if he had a brown leather jacket, he said no. When I described the person I “saw” in my vision, Marie Christine said, “That must be my husband Yves La Foret you saw.”

La Foret was the first Canadian who climbed Mt. Everest. He died in a freak river boat accident when his wife was pregnant. He never saw his child.

Gilbert and Marie-Jinette got very excited about my story because they knew Marie Christine and Yves La Foret very well.

“At the time of his death, he didn’t know his wife was pregnant.” Gilbert told us. “We were all shocked and very sad at what happened.”

I was amazed at the coincidence of meeting Gilbert and Marie-Jinette who come from different countries and who turned out to be good friends of the person whose ghost I had seen in Jeffrey, Canada. And here we were in Poznan, Poland in Eastern Europe.

Book launch in Poland set

BY the time you read this column, I would already be on Board a KLM flight to Warsaw, Poland for another series of seminars and consultations sponsored by the Institute of Valeology based in Poznan City.

What makes this trip different from previous ones is that this time my newly-revised book “Understanding the Psychic Powers of Man” will be launched in the Polish language by Helion Publishing, the biggest publisher of computer, business management and psychology books in Poland.

The publishing contract was signed between Helion Publishing Company, represented by Ewa Szczecinska-Budziak and myself in Warsaw last November.This is the third book of mine to be translated in Polish.

The first two were “Magicians of God” and “Soulmates, Karma & Reincarnation” published by the Institute of Valeology in Poznan last year.

As far as I know, this is the first time that books written by a Filipino author have been translated and published in Poland.In an e-mail to me, Ms Budziak of Helion said that the formal book launching in February will be done in “one of the biggest book stores in Poland at the center of Warsaw.”

They also plan during the book launching a meeting with my Polish readers, plus a taped interview with me. Since very few people in Poland speak English, a translator will be provided by the publisher.

I have observed that despite the fact that 90 percent of Poland’s population is Catholic, compared with the Philippines’ 80 percent, there seems to be greater openness among the Polish people about psychic, esoteric and paranormal topics as compared to us here. My seminars attract a greater number of people than here in the Philippines.One unexpected development during my last trip was my meeting with a former management representative of Poland to the European Community.

He had written a model for quality management which was adopted by the European Community and received recognition for his contribution for the advancement of quality management in European business organizations.

What was surprising was that he realized that what he had done was not complete because his model only addressed the left critical and analytical brain but almost nothing about the creative and intuitive right brain.

He asked my help in modifying the model to include the right side of the brain and train business executives how to do this. I have been teaching Whole-Brain Management for the last 20 years now.

Brain programming

During this Whole-Brain Development seminar, I teach participants how to program their brain for better decision-making, how to visualize and realize their goals, how to heal themselves using only mental imagery or visualization, how to meet their inner advisor from whom they can seek advice, and even how to use dreams to solve problems.

The seminar also contains techniques on how to develop psychic reference points and perform remote-viewing to know what’s happening in their companies even from afar.As a result of our initial discussion, we have decided to establish together the European Institute for Intuition Development in Management.

Because I will be very busy in Poland, I may not be able to submit my column for the next two weeks. Woman wants to improve her love life

“I’VE been reading you for years.

I’m actually very interested in your ESP and Intuition Development Workshop. I feel it will be very useful in making decisions. Since I study in Australia, I can’t attend it. I hope you can share some basics to improve my ESP and intuition. I had it when I was younger, but somehow lost it.

“I have been very unfortunate in my romantic life. At 26, I have not had a serious relationship. Sometimes the guys I liked didn’t like me. Other times, the guys who liked me were already married. I recently had a relationship with a foreigner which I thought was serious, but he ended it in two months and left me in pain.

“I am not asking for love advice. I just want to know why these series of unfortunate incidents happen. I wonder if there are things I’m not doing right, some misplaced elements in my life, perhaps? How I can bring more positive energy to improve my love life?

I’m glad you said you’re not asking for advice on your love life, because there are really more competent people you can consult. Besides, my views are very radical and may come as a shock to many. But since your case is not really unique and I’ve been asked similar questions, I might as well share what I teach about relationships in my Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation seminar.

The teachings are based on these principles or concepts:
1. I believe we don’t live only once on earth. “Most people have had many lifetimes.” Even Buddha, at the moment of enlightenment sitting quietly under the Bodhi Tree, saw no less than 500 of his previous incarnations on earth.
The view that we had lived explains to me why we get attracted or repulsed by certain people at first meeting, why certain places we have never been to are familiar to us.

2. “The people who are around us, for good or ill, are with us because we have attracted them to us.” One sacred law of the Universe is “like attracts like” on the mental and spiritual planes. This is more popularly called the “Law of Attraction” which I’ve been teaching for more than 20 years now, but is only now being accepted by more people, specially after the very popular book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne came out and sold millions of copies. There is absolutely nothing new in that book, but I recommend it to people who have never heard of it.

3. “Everything that we do comes back to us, nothing less and nothing more.” This is more popularly known as the “Law of Karma,” or “Law of Compensation” or the “Law of Universal Justice.” And karma is based on choices, intentions, desires or actions we have done.
Even certain illnesses we suffer from could be results of choices made in past lives. Even so-called “accidents” may not really be accidents at all.

4. “Both great love and great hatred bind you to another.” So if you don’t want to meet your enemy again in the next life, you must learn to release or forgive him or her now in this lifetime, or you are surely bound to meet that person again in a future life.

5. “The secret of happiness,” according to Buddha, “is not in having what you want, but in not wanting what you do not have.” Juliet should meditate on this great message. She should learn from the failed relationships she has had, knowing she may only be paying her karma to these men. She must not get angry with them or wish to seek revenge on them but learn the lessons they are giving her.

6. “If you love somebody, let him go; if he comes back, he is yours, if he does not, he never was.” The reason for this is that we never lose what we truly own.

7. Here’s something that may shock this predominantly conservative Christian country: “God does not punish or reward us, we punish or reward ourselves,” because we have been given absolute freedom of choice or free will by God.
As Epictetus, the great ancient Greek philosopher, once said: “The good or ill of man lies within his own will.”

What the end of the earth in 2012 means

ARMAGEDDON! Apocalypse! End times!

These terms conjure visions of calamities, cataclysms and upheavals. They induce fear and anxiety because they are believed to be the end of the world.

The great Mayan Calendar, which predicts the end of the present cycle to occur precisely at midnight of Dec. 21, 2012, suggests not the end of the world, but merely the end of a 26,000-year earth cycle, divided into five sub-cycles of about 5,200 years.

According to the Mayan Calendar we are on the last fifth earth cycle where a new beginning looms.

According to Mayan prophecies, “All moons, all years, all days, all winds, reach their completion.

Measured is the time in which we can know the benevolence of the sun. Measured is the time in which the stars look down on us.”

On Dec. 21, 2012, several heavenly planets will be in complete alignment with the earth and solar system, an event which takes place only once in about 26,000 years. And such an alignment will exert a great magnetic pull that will affect all life on earth. Great changes will take place. There will be a breaking down of the old order of things to give way to the new.

In the words of Dr. James J. Hurtak, president of the Academy for Future Science and author of the prophetic book “Secret Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch”—“Humanity must begin to understand that in a new era of true enlightenment, the exclusive material mind-set will have to pass away in order for human nature to implement new tools at quantum change.”

To help with this formidable information dissemination task, I wanted to consult Gabbey, an angelic entity that communicates with Dr. Jun Aquiatan of Pangasinan, who teaches management. But before I could, Jun texted to say he had received a message about the Mayan

Prophecy from Gabbey.
According to the entity Gabbey, “The Mayan people had some contact with other beings in the universe who gave them knowledge about the heavenly bodies.”
This explains how the Mayans were able to foretell accurately the movements of planets without the use of modern instruments. They were taught by beings who came from outer space.

End of an era
The end of the present Earth cycle on Dec. 21, 2012 mentioned in the Mayan Calendar “does not mean the end of the world but the end of a cycle or an era. This means that a new kind of consciousness in the world will begin to take shape which will also affect the way of life on earth.”

Gabbey said that everything in the universe is interconnected. “The phenomenon that will happen on Earth has a parallel event in another place in the universe. The change in your earth’s consciousness will have an effect in the consciousness of other beings in other planets.”
Gabbey continued to explain that the new consciousness means “a better understanding of the meaning of life. Cultures on earth will gradually change based on a new understanding of life.

New philosophies will emerge, religious beliefs will gradually shift and scientific inventions will proliferate, but this time, it would not be geared towards destruction but to improve human life.” He also said, “organizations, including religious organizations, will be shaken.”

Gabbey predicted calamities to come, a prediction that echoes what is in the Mayan Calendar. But Gabbey added that these calamities would be brought about not only by the alignment of different planets but by other phenomena.

“Another far planet which has no name yet because it has not been detected yet by your scientists will have a great effect on your sun, and this will trigger tremendous sun flares that will affect not only the earth but also the other planets in your solar system. This will cause diseases and other global calamities.”

When asked what we can do about these coming changes and calamities, Gabbey replied, “Pray that you survive these calamities. Remember that this phenomenon is a natural occurrence in the higher order of things and, therefore, they will come. This is a part of the grand evolutionary scheme under the universal set-up by God. I will tell you later what is in store for the world once the new era sets in.”

Then Gabbey abruptly ended the message by saying, “We are through.”

Unusual incidents in Poland

I JUST got back from Poland after almost a month there.

There were unusual and interesting incidents that happened in Poznan city, where all the seminars and consultancies I did were held.

A woman participant told me that when the drawings of my seven spirit guides were projected onscreen, she got a big shock to see that the most prominent of them, a Chinese-looking man with a long beard, was the same spirit she had seen three months before.

“Is it possible,” she asked, “for two different people living so far apart to have the same spirit guide?”

I replied, “Yes, because these guides are highly evolved masters and can guide several people at the same time.”

The faces of my seven spirit guides, who come from different nationalities (Filipino, American, European, and Chinese), were drawn by the famous British medium, Coral Polge. She can see and draw the faces of one’s spirit guide, given only one’s handwriting, or by simply looking at the person.

Another woman came all the way from Berlin, Germany to the ESP seminar. She didn’t know I was in Poznan. She was driving to a seminar on acupuncture when a friend texted her that I was holding a seminar that day in the same city.

Upon seeing me, she hugged and kissed me on the cheek. I didn’t recognize her because she looked much prettier and more svelte than when I first saw her in Warsaw earlier this year.

She said my seminar had transformed her life. “Your book is always beside my bed.” One night she had a dream—there was a big snake that was about to attack her. “You were there,” she said, adding that I gave her a watch that had the power to ward off the snake. So she was not afraid anymore. Unfortunately, she spoke only Polish and German.

Exorcist and healer
Then there was this very interesting guy in his 50s who attended my four seminars. He said he was an exorcist and healer. He said he wanted to come to the Philippines to learn how to perform bare-hand psychic surgery the way Filipinos are known to do. He asked me to recommend a healer who could teach him.

I told him that, according to the healers I’ve talked to, no healer can teach another to do psychic surgery. It is only the spirits who can. It is the spirits that choose who will become a psychic surgeon. I’ve observed this to be true. Not one of the psychic surgeons I’ve interviewed said they wanted to be a healer, much less a psychic surgeon. But I told the man I’d ask around and let him know.

Another interesting, but no longer that strange, incident was what happened in a special Catholic Church very far from Poznan. There, a former staff of the Institute that invited me was exorcized and converted to something similar to our Born Again Christians. She felt several spirits get out of her body and since then, she has dedicated her life to Jesus.

She left the Institute, relying only on the priest to guide her. I was curious about this church she went to and the priest who exorcized her. So one weekend, I went with her and her family to that church. I didn’t know the ceremony would take three hours, because aside from the usual mass, there was an exorcism and healing the priest did. No wonder the church was filled to capacity that evening.

Although the service was in Polish, I felt at one point the presence of spirits whom the priest must have invoked. I was kneeling beside this former staff member when I went into a trance.

Fortunately, she knew what was happening to me without looking at me. She held my left arm tightly to keep me from falling. She tried to shake and tug at my hand but I couldn’t move. I was in a trance for maybe five minutes. Then the energy lightened up and I snapped out of trance. It almost happened again after the exorcism and when the priest held the chalice and walked towards the back where we were. When he was beside me, I almost went into a trance again.

This time I was able to control it.

Now I know what happened to that girl. She was so sensitive she felt the energy around her and was healed of negative entities.

Earth changes based on Mayan prophecies

POZNAN, Poland—Precisely at midnight on Dec. 21, 2012, the planets Pluto, Uranus and Neptune will be in perfect alignment, an extremely rare event that takes place only once in 26,000 years.

The Mayan calendar has predicted this long before the telescope was invented. The Mayans were able to predict eclipses of the sun, although these were not visible to them. They were able to calculate the average revolution of Venus with an error of just one day in 6,000 years.
How these ancient and simple people were able to do all these without the use of modern instrument has never been discovered. Nor why their civilization suddenly vanished around 800 CE.

This cosmic event which will occur on Dec. 21, 2012 is known as “galactic synchronization.” This means that the earth and solar system will be in line with the plane of our galaxy, the Milky Way. According to the Mayan calendar, this astronomical synchronization marks the end of the present world age or cycle and the birth or beginning of a new one.

The Mayan prophecy does not say nor does it imply that it would be the end of the world. But certain unprecedented changes would take place on planet Earth that will affect all its inhabitants. Planet Earth is on the last 5,126 years of its present cycle which, according to the Mayan calendar, began on Aug. 13, 3114 BC and will end on Dec. 21, 2012.

“The Maya,” according to Gerald Benedict, in his fascinating and important book, “The Mayan Prophecies for 2012,” were able to work with vast periods of time and calculated that it would take a cycle of approximately 26,000 years for a constellation to reappear over the same observation point on earth. Modern astronomy has confirmed this period as 25,800 years.

According to Benedict, “What will actually happen is that at sunrise on Dec. 21, 2012, the sun forms a conjunction with the galactic center of the Milky Way at the constellation of Scorpio. Because of the precession of the equinoxes the winter Solstice sunrise has been moving toward that point of the Milky Way known as the ‘galactic center.’ Thus, the planet Earth and the solar system will come into galactic junction with the rest of the universe.”

And what, according to the Mayan Prophecies, will happen to our planet at the end of this present earth cycle?

1. “There will be violent sunspot activity that will cause a radical change in the Earth’s magnetic fields, perhaps amounting to a reversal of the poles.”

According to Benedict, even the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has confirmed this. NASA has predicted that there would be very intense solar storm in 2012, and the sun would reverse its magnetic poles because of the ending of the 11-year sunspot cycle. This would cause disturbances in the Earth’s magnetic fields.

2. “The end of each Mayan age, or sun, is marked by extreme natural catastrophe. The Earth will experience violent earthquakes and volcanoes together with the side effects these produce.”

3. Although the Earth will be at risk, it is prophesied that as we move toward 2012, “it will become increasingly apparent that the various races, religions and classes that divide us, mask an essential unity and despite the conflicts, people will be drawn closer together. The prophecy emphasizes that only by realizing our inherent unity can the problems now facing both our planet and our civilization be solved—it points to a more outward-looking interfaith dialogue and mutuality.”

4. According to a Mayan priest, “The Earth will not end on Dec. 21, 2012. It will be transformed.” And Pacal Vocan, one of the most widely known Mayan leaders and prophets, foresaw that “human beings will develop a universal telepathic facility, a considerable heightening of our senses and a more perfectly focused self reflecting consciousness.”

Already the heightening or elevation of human consciousness is beginning to be felt all over the world, despite all the material problems mankind is experiencing right now.

There is growing awareness that we all belong to this one planet—not only to our own individual country. If this planetary consciousness accelerates, and the Mayan Prophecies certainly point towards that direction, then the message of the Mayan calendar is one of hope and a beginning of a new era, as we leave the destructive nature of the past.

Baffling cases of regression in Poland

POZNAN, Poland—This third trip to Poland was quite different from previous ones where I conducted seminars, did TV and radio. This time, I did more individual consultations than seminars. These were mostly for past-life hypnotic regressions, and a few for business concerns.

Memorable
The most fascinating, memorable and challenging consultations were with women who came for regression.

One had fear of crowds and open space. She was afraid to ride buses, especially when packed.
She was given anti-psychotic drugs, which didn’t help. After two years, she stopped taking them and seeing the psychiatrist. She wanted alternative solution.

She said her problem began about three years after she had abortion. She was having serious marital problems, thus the decision to have abortion.

The first panic attack came when she was shopping in a crowded supermarket. At the checkout counter, she was suddenly seized with panic, threw up and couldn’t breathe. She ran out of the supermarket.

I put her in a light trance, talked to her subconscious mind to see if her fears originated in this lifetime or in a previous one. Her subconscious mind revealed they began in a past life. I placed her in a deeper trance, told her to go to that past.

She saw herself as a girl of 10 sitting alone in a dark cave. I asked her what she was doing in a cave. “Nothing” she said. Why was she in the cave? “Because it is safe here.”

I asked her to move forward in time, leave the cave, to go to the place where there were people.
I asked where she was. “I am in the marketplace, there are plenty of people. I am just walking among the crowd.” I asked if she was afraid. “No, I am not afraid.”

I told her to remember that feeling of being alone in a crowd but not being afraid.
When she opened her eyes, she smiled broadly, and said she saw everything very clearly. I told her she was grown up now, so she shouldn’t be afraid. I believe she must have been punished into staying inside a dark cave. I told her that now all her fears of crowded places were gone.

Interesting
I saw other interesting clients in Poznan. One was a woman with severe headaches, and emotional and behavioral problems, all stemming from an unhappy childhood. She had a very strict, domineering father.

She could deal with this problem because she knew its cause. She learned to meditate and make positive affirmation. I learned she was a doctor of medicine who was also interested in alternative or holistic therapies.

When she finally was in deep relaxation, I brought her back to the past life chosen by her subconscious mind to reveal the causes of her headaches.

In that past life, she saw herself in a dark place. She was in a dungeon or underground torture chamber—alone. Later she felt the presence of a person who was doing something with her head. She felt heavy pressure on both sides of her head.

I asked her to look at the person. She said she couldn’t see his face because it was covered. “Why was it covered?” I asked. “He’s the executioner,” she replied.

“Are you being tortured to death?” She said yes. “Why are you being punished?” Because she’d done something or something they didn’t like.

I told her to see how she died, but without feeling pain. She said her skull had been cracked—that was how she died. I told her it was the past, and she was no longer in that period. She no longer had to carry that memory when she opened her eyes.

Snapping out of her trance, she smiled and said her head felt very light. She could feel no more pain.

Lecture on karma at 33,000 feet

ON the way back from Cyprus to Manila, our plane made a stopover at Dubai.

On the Dubai to Manila flight, one of the almost all-Filipino crew named Kristine recognized my name when I presented my boarding card to her.

“Oh, you’re the one who writes about soulmates and things like that, aren’t you?” she beamed.
“Yup!” I said, “Same guy.” She got excited and said she’d talk to me later in the flight.

A little later, she came back to where I was seated (which was on the aisle) accompanied by her Eastern European Flight Purser we shall call Michelle.

Kristine wanted a picture taken with me so we went to the flight attendant’s station and had somebody take our picture with my camera.

Kristine said Michelle wanted very much to consult me when she learned who I was. She asked me to come with her to the First Class cabin where it’s less crowded and had more space.

My wife, Yoly, was sleeping soundly at the economy section and didn’t know I was “kidnapped” by two lovely flight attendants.

After offering me champagne (which I didn’t take because I don’t drink any alcoholic beverage) she asked me if I could give her a reading while Kristine listened intently as she sat on my right side. Michelle sat next to me on the left.

I told her I didn’t really make psychic readings of people, neither did I read minds. I said I was not a fortune teller, nor a psychic, as commonly understood. She insisted on my telling her what I saw in her.

“Well, okay,” I finally said half joking. “I think you are highly emotional and you cry easily.”
“Yes, you’re right. I cry even over small things.” I was surprised at the accuracy of my guess.
“I didn’t know that!” Kristine said in a loud voice. She had known Michelle for 13 years and she never saw her cry, she said.

I sensed she really needed someone whom she could talk to about her problems. But she didn’t tell me at first what those problems were, which were very personal.
Michelle’s past life

“Let’s see what I can tell about your past life that’s causing whatever problem you may have now.” I stared at her and she turned her face away, a bit embarrassed or self-conscious. I told her to look at me straight in the eyes which she did.

Then the impossible happened! I literally saw her face change into an Arab man’s face!
“You were an Arab in your past life,” I told her. She didn’t say anything. She seemed stunned. So

I asked her, “What do you think of Arabs?”
“Oh, I am attracted to Arab men,” she suddenly replied, “but I don’t really like Arabs, I don’t know why I am attracted to them.”

“Because you were an Arab before,” I told her matter-of-factly.
She revealed to me soon afterwards she was married to an Arab and all her previous boyfriends were Arabs.

“Maybe you did something to these men in your past life, that’s why you are attracted to them and they are in turn attracted to you, too. This is all part of your karma that you have to work out with them.”

Although she had heard of the term, she wasn’t sure exactly how the law of karma works. So I gave her a short lecture about karma and reincarnation 33,000 feet above the ground!

After thanking me profusely, she asked my wife to join us in the first class cabin and offered us drinks and snacks. She allowed us to stay in that more comfortable cabin for the rest of the flight, which passed so fast.

What I did on that plane was nothing extraordinary. Anybody can do that if one just blanks his or her mind and says whatever comes to mind without evaluation, guessing or criticism.

When one does this without anticipating at all, the right intuitive side of our brain begins to release information stored in one’s subconscious mind which is connected to other’s subconscious minds.

Very accurate, detailed information about a person can be obtained this way which cannot be done by the left, critical or logical brain.

How to contact one’s spirit guide

MANILA, Philippines—“I’m Vince Punzal of Taguig City. I always read your column because I’m very interested in paranormal things. I hope you can explain to me the following:

“Do all people have guide spirits? My classmate in college told me that when he was in high school, he had a teacher who was very mysterious. He told him and two other classmates that they had guide spirits, but they can’t see them because they needed to do something first. He told my classmate he needed to climb three mountains and to the other he said he had to see three white birds at night.”

Thank you Vince, for your interest in my works. According to people who can see spirits, we all have at least one spirit guide. A spirit guide is different from the Christian concept of a guardian angel, which most of us are familiar with.

According to Christian doctrine, if I remember my high school catechism class, when a person is born, God assigns a guardian angel to protect and guide him in his lifetime. An angel is a pure spirit and has not been human before. A spirit guide may have been human before and now chooses, while in the spirit form, to help others by being a guide to them. It is usually by mutual consent between the guide and his ward that the former will guide him or her. A person may have several spirit guides but only one guardian angel. Also, a spirit guide may change in the course of a person’s lifetime depending on the person’s needs and development of his consciousness. A guardian angel, by my understanding, remains the same throughout a person’s lifetime.

I do not know how the teacher of your classmate got the idea that to see one’s spirit guide, he has to climb three mountains and to see three white birds in the night. It is just saying that one can never see or contact one’s spirit guide. In my Inner Mind Development seminar, I teach people how to contact their inner advisor but I do not define it as a spirit. The inner advisor is defined as a symbolic representation of one’s subconscious mind. It acts as a bridge between one’s higher self and that part of our mind that thinks in pictures or images.

Automatic writing
According to one young American spiritual medium, Sarah Christine Lalonde, in the April 2008 issues of FATE Magazine, the best and safe way to contact one’s spirit guide is through automatic writing, which I also teach in my class. Sarah gave useful guidelines, which I summarized here:

1. “Never ask if ‘anyone’ is there.” This opens you up to possible negative spirits hovering around.2. “Always protect yourself with prayer, grounding or the white light before going any further.”3. “Be respectful. Always say ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ Your spirit guide will love you for it and would want to help you more.”4. “Do not expect your guide to predict the future or tell you everything you want to know.”5. “Do not drink alcohol or take drugs before doing automatic writing.”6. “Do not ask for famous people that you are not related to or know on a personal level. Calling spirits is a serious thing, not a game.”7. “Relax and enjoy yourself.”

When attempting to contact spirits, whether through automatic writing or some other method, be sure you are in touch only with highly evolved beings or masters and not with lower spirits or negative ones. When you feel afraid or apprehensive, stop. Or when the spirit starts building your ego or promising you power or riches, stop. These are usually the work of lower discarnate spirits or negative and evil forces.

As the well-known psychic prophet Edgar Cayce has always admonished, when doing spiritual work, always attune yourself to “your highest ideal,” and you won’t go wrong. The highest ideal is, of course, God.

Psychic surgery
A third-year medical student who is doing research on body-mind connection asked me the following question which he said has puzzled him:

“Why is it that psychic surgery is so popular among foreigners but locally, nobody really takes it seriously?”

Well, it is not exactly true that “locally nobody takes psychic surgery seriously” because I do. I have devoted over 15 years of serious research on this subject and have written three books on it.

One reason it is not taken seriously, especially by educated urban Filipinos as compared to foreigners, is because all we ever hear about this subject are highly negative and critical. Can you cite me any single news item, television episode, or magazine article that is positive or at least impartial and objective in its discussion of psychic surgery?

Another reason is this: Because of the incredible nature of the process—the reported ability of a psychic surgeon to open up a patient’s body with his bare hands, take out diseased tissues and close the incision without a trace at all—our rational scientific minds cannot accept it. So we at once suspect trickery or sleight-of-hand.

All our psychic surgeons are “espiritistas” or spirit mediums and they all claim they have spirit guides that do the healing, not themselves.

Kid sees ‘monster’ inside refrigerator

READER Amie from Las Piñas City wrote about her three-year-old son who sees a “monster” at the door, in the toilet, or even inside the refrigerator.

“Last night,” according to her, “he was perspiring and covering his eyes because he saw the ‘monster’ again.” Amie wondered why she couldn’t see anything, although her hair would stand when the “monster” was present. “After a while I would ask him if the monster is still there and he would say, ’no more.’ Then he would start playing again as if nothing happened.”

Here are the mother’s questions:
1. “How come he sees the ‘monster’ and I don’t?”
Children’s third eye or clairvoyant vision is normally open. They can often see elementals and other invisible beings. They are also very intuitive and creative. When we are born, our right brain, our intuitive and creative part, is dominant. As we grow older, we are trained to use mainly our left critical or logical brain. That’s why, as the child grows older he ceases to see invisible creatures. By about seven to 10 years old, he has become one of us ordinary mortals.

But there are people who are able to retain their clairvoyant vision up to their adult and even older age. They are called psychics or sensitives. The late Prof. Tenhaeff of Utrecht University in the Netherlands calls them “paragnosts.”

The fact that your hair stands when the “monster” appears means you are also sensitive. You are sentient. You “feel” rather than “see” things.

2. “Is a monster one of the spirits that roams all over?”
I cannot tell precisely what type of creature your son sees inside your house. You have to ask him to describe how this creature looks like. You can show him some pictures of dwarves, gnomes and other creatures to have an idea of what exactly he sees.

I asked two sensitives to tune in to your house. They reported that they see a small-faced hairy creature but not a dwarf as we know it. It likes to eat sweets or some food inside the refrigerator. It is not particularly a bad spirit. So there’s nothing to be worried about. To a child, anything strange-looking is a monster.

3. “I keep saying, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ, go away.’ Do you think this works on the ‘monster’? I say it because I believe the monster is an evil spirit and is afraid of our God.”
You have actually answered this question yourself. You kept saying this invocation but the monster still appears. Because these words, if uttered by a person of authority and power, may work against demonic spirits, but not if they are elementals who are not necessarily evil.

4. “If I call a priest to exorcise our house, do you think it will work?”
If the person you call has authority and power over such creatures, the answer is yes, if not, it won’t work.

Not all priests are exorcists. We have been to a house that has been exorcised by three priests before our group was called because the residents were experiencing the presence of ghosts. The priests only succeeded in inviting more spirits to the place rather than driving them away. Better perhaps for you to call a clairvoyant, esperitista or a good albulario than an ordinary priest.

Not only on Halloween

FOR as long as I can remember, every All Saints’ Day I get calls for interviews from radio and TV about ghosts, witchcraft and other mystical phenomena. This has become so regular and predictable that my children and their friends have labeled me the “Halloween Personality.”

Last week, a friend of my youngest son told him, “Oh, Halloween is coming. We will see your Dad again on TV.”

I used to be merely amused with mass media’s preoccupation with ghost stories, witchcraft and the supernatural every time Halloween came around. But lately, I have become bored and tired—even cynical about it.

The media keep on repeating the same worn-out stories. The same questions I’ve been asked the last 20 years are being asked me this year. So I have declined most requests for interviews, unless they want to know something new.

One of the most often-repeated stories this year is about the ghosts in society columnist Maurice Arcache’s house in Sta. Ana.

The story had been told and retold so many times that poor Maurice had to hide from reporters every Halloween. The latest I heard was that Maurice finally sold his famous (or infamous) house and the new owner had it demolished.

Although he lived alone in that house for a long time, Maurice said he was never afraid of them. He went about his business without minding them at all.

Horror stories
Most articles that come out at this time are horror stories or scary encounters. The scarier these are, the better.

One TV network researcher texted me, asking if I knew of “a love story that developed between a ghost and a living person or about a ghost and a living person writing to each other, or a wife who was embracing her departed husband, but when she realized he’s dead, he’s gone.” What is really the value of repeating such stories?

They are not really new. There are hundreds of documented cases in the history of paranormal phenomena around the world. People don’t seem to tire of hearing them year in and year out.

Evidence
Celebrating Halloween or the “Day of the Dead” on November 1 is not indigenous to our culture. It was introduced by the Spaniards and the Americans. Halloween, in the West, is one of the year’s most important “festivals of the witches.” It used to be a sinister occasion linked to the pagan Sabbath and the Black Mass.

Today it is celebrated principally by children. And yet, for the most part, people still associate it with ghosts, witchcraft and scary encounters.

For years, I have refused to succumb to the temptation of writing about Halloween ghost stories because everybody will be talking about the same topic anyway. But the other reason is that it is not true that ghosts appear and make their presence felt only at this time. Truth is, they may, and do appear, any time, day or night.

What I can’t understand is why, despite so much incontrovertible evidence of the existence of ghosts and other spirits, people still ask: “Do ghosts really exist?”

Let me say this much for the last time. Spirits of the dead not only have been seen by so many people since time began. There is enough evidence to prove they have been photographed, appeared solid to some people, wrote letters, sent fax messages, texted loved ones on their cell phones, fried eggs, flushed toilets, turned on and off TV and radio sets, photo copying machines and computers, called and talked to loved ones on the phone, signed their names on vouchers and delivery receipts, drank soft drinks and wine, saved people from accidents, or even had sex with the living.

On a more positive note, some “ghosts” have even healed the sick. Ghosts have been known to be able to do everything a living person can do, except beget or bear children.

Criminals who use hypnosis

MANILA, Philippines—Reader Lorenzo Tan wrote to say he has also encountered criminals in the Binondo area who use hypnosis to rob people.

“My few encounters,” he said, “included chanting of prayers and the use of hypnotic eyes. You won’t notice their eyeballs or even see their mouths open during the chanting. I was hearing words that seemed foreign, as though they were coming from my own brain.

“Although I have managed to avoid previous hypnotic attempts, in my third encounter, I was forced to look deep into one’s eyes and that had a bad effect on me. I couldn’t help recalling the face of this person and the chanting during sleep.

“Fortunately, I recalled from one of my readings on visualization how to counter such condition. I made a visualization of fire, burning his face repeatedly until his face ceased to appear in my mind.

“An encounter with these types of people is really scary. Avoid looking into their eyes, and distract them. That’s the only thing I can recommend.”

Thank you for that suggestion. The problem is in practice, one realizes only too late that he or she has been hypnotized. It comes without warning.

Mr. Tan followed his letter with the following questions:

1. “Is the future fixed?” Is it true we can’t change our future?”
My answer is “yes” and “no.” If the future depends on the will of man to be fulfilled, and is not yet completed in the astral or spiritual realm, it can still be changed. However, if the future event is already completed on that higher plane, it cannot be changed anymore.
For example, Edgar Cayce, the late American psychic and prophet who died in 1945, was in a building waiting for the elevator door to open. When it opened, he saw three or four persons inside. Instead of entering the elevator, he stepped backward. The elevator door closed. After a few seconds, he heard a loud crash. The elevator cable broke and everybody inside crashed to death.
When asked how he knew the elevator would crash, Cayce replied that when he looked at the people inside the elevator, they had no more aura.
In other words, they were already practically dead and there was nothing he could do about it. Cayce could see the aura and knew that only living beings have auras.

2. “Why do some people have the gift of seeing the future even if they can’t change it?”
There are several reasons. First, to prepare the person emotionally and mentally to accept the inevitable. Second, since we really cannot tell for sure whether the future, even if seen, can be changed or not, seeing it beforehand can serve as warning to avoid it, if possible.
Some say the future is just a bunch of probabilities and really not fixed. It can still be changed by us.

3. “Are spirits given the rights to influence the future?”
Not really “rights,” but the fact that they’re spirits let them see things happen before they actually do. Before anything happens on the physical plane, they appear or happen on the mental and spiritual planes.

There is no exception to this. Before a chair or a table becomes a physical reality, it must exist in the mind of the carpenter or designer.

So if one can see what’s happening on the spiritual plane, he or she can influence its becoming a physical reality.

Why 30% of people can’t be hypnotized

Reader Mary Ann Ong asked why 30 percent of people can’t be hypnotized. What prevents them from being hypnotized?

Actually, there’s no definite answer hypnosis experts can give us. What some say is these people who can’t be hypnotized either cannot focus or concentrate. Their mind or attention span is flighty or of short duration. They may be emotionally disturbed.

They may be too skeptical or too analytical and can’t relax. Or it could be the other way around. Others are not easily distracted and may be too focused on other more important things.

Of what practical use is ESP?

I was recently taken by surprise when a business manager friend I was inviting to attend my seminar suddenly asked me: “Of what practical use is ESP? What for should I try to develop it?”

“You mean you do not know?” I asked him incredulously.

“Nope,” he snapped back, “Never bothered to find out.”

After I had gained some composure and began to think calmly, I realized he was right, not many people, even supposedly highly educated and intelligent ones, are aware of the many uses of ESP in everyday life, in business and practically any human endeavor or activity.

Let’s begin with some scientific background info, which many of us do not know about.

Back in the ’70s, two researchers from the Engineering Department of the University of Newark, New Jersey in the United States started to ask a somewhat similar question. They were John Mihalasky and Douglas Dean. They wanted to know whether there was any correlation between business success and ESP ability.

So they devised an experiment to find out. They asked 50 chief executives of various companies to guess what two-digit numbers would come out of a randomly generated set of numbers. Then they asked them to fill out a questionnaire about the financial status of their firms during the last five years.

They discovered those executives who scored very high in correctly predicting what two-digit numbers would come out were managing companies that doubled their profitability in five years. And those who scored average or below in their ability to guess the numbers correctly were managing companies that had either average profitability or were even going down.

When they presented their findings to the university, they were told the results were interesting but not conclusive because their sample of 50 executives was too low.

So, when given the opportunity to test their theory on some 1500 top executives who held a convention in the university, they repeated the ESP test and business success correlation with them. The results were the same. Those who scored high in the ESP test were running highly successful firms while those who scored low on the test were running firms with average or even declining profitability.

This was the first scientifically controlled experiment that shows without doubt the relevance of ESP ability to business success. And I tend to believe this because I have been for about 20 years almost a regular speaker of an elite and prestigious international organization of top-level executives called the Young Presidents Organization based at that time in Dallas, Texas.

During my talks, I invariably give these executives an exercise in remote viewing, and in all occasions, I never got an average success rate below 90 percent among those who attended my sessions. Remote viewing is a scientifically validated skill that began at the Stanford Research Institute (now called SRI International) in Menlo Park California in the ’70s.

I conduct a modified version here of the scientific protocol developed by physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff.

Other uses

There are many other uses of ESP aside from business. It has been successfully used in crime detection and investigation, finding missing persons, lost objects and even hidden treasures or sunken ships.

During the last World War, the military suppliers used psychics to detect or find leaks in underwater pipelines, which could not be detected by any scientific instruments. They used dowsers or water diviners to locate them and they succeeded in doing so.

Persons with above-average psychic ability can sense danger or problem before it arises and avoid it. They can find solutions to problem faster than the average person.

A mother found her son, whose car fell into a ravine, by remote viewing. She saw him hanging precariously at the branch of a tree at the edge of the ravine, which rescuers missed.

In the ’80s, I talked to the head of the Psychotronics Research Society in Utrecht, The Netherlands, who showed me a letter signed by the Chief of Police of Utrecht certifying that 12 serious crimes that year were solved through the help of psychics.

Is there a practical value to developing ones’ psychic ability? Why don’t you ask the people I have mentioned above? They will tell you.

I have been teaching ESP development for the last 25 years worldwide. It wouldn’t have lasted this long if it had no practical value at all.

Can the future be seen?

Here’s an intriguing question from a female reader who calls herself Alpha, regarding the nature of time and seeing the future.

“Let’s say everything from 2005 to the present has already happened, as well as the future. Then, we are just repeating things that happened before.

“If that is the case, then the coming events already took place. I want to know if hypnosis can help a person see the coming events, since they are considered merely a repetition of the past. If not, how is it possible to see future events?”

Time, as we know it, exists only in our three-dimensional world of physical reality. Actually, time does not exist in the mental and, specially, in the spiritual planes.

To define time is almost an impossible task. The usual division of time into past, present and future is merely a convenient metaphor for us to rationally or logically function in this physical world.
In reality, there is no such thing. There is only the eternal now.

That is why there is some truth to the saying that, “The future is now!” The past is forever gone, and the future is yet to be.

The present

But in reality, what we consider to be a future event in the physical world is actually the present in the spiritual or nonphysical world. Because before something appears on the physical plane, it must first appear on the mental and spiritual planes.

According to some modern physicists, time travel is theoretically possible. And if man can invent a machine that can travel at the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second, then this can become a physical reality.

The next question is: If the future can be seen, say an accident or impending danger, can it be prevented?

The answer is: Sometimes yes, at other times, no.

What makes the difference one way or the other? A future event can be prevented if not all the elements for its completion are present.

For example, if it requires the will of man to complete the event, it can still be prevented. However, if all the elements are completed on that higher astral plane, nothing can be done to prevent it from happening on the physical plane. In other words, we live in a multidimensional reality.

Negative vibes

Another reader asks if negative thoughts and feelings take physical form or become tangible “even in the absence of the negative person?”

“My family,” she continued, “went through an emotional crisis the last few years. It involved mainly my two sisters who lived with my parents. My older sister stayed in the room where I felt strong negative vibes when I visited the place. Her envy, anger and all other pent-up emotions have become so tangible that they fill the room with negative vibes. Is this possible?”

Yes, because the feelings expressed by any person especially if strong negative ones, are imprinted in the akashic record of that place which can be felt by a sensitive person. A non-sensitive person may not feel these negative vibes but will still affect him or her.

To remove negative emotions, light an incense or candle, or sound Tibetan bells in the room. You may also leave clear quartz crystals in the room to somehow neutralize the negative energies.

Believing in ET’s is not in conflict with Christianity

Two successive news items in last week’s Philippine Daily Inquirer caught my attention. The first was on May 15 where the Vatican’s chief astronomer declared that believing in the existence of extraterrestrial creatures (ET’s) is not in conflict with Christianity.

The second was the news item the following day, May 16, saying the British defense department released a formerly classified file showing that aliens from outer space have been visiting the earth for many years now.

In an interview with the Vatican newspaper, Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, a 45-year-old Jesuit priest who heads the Vatican Observatory was quoted as saying, “How can we exclude that life has developed elsewhere… certainly, in a universe this big, you can’t exclude this hypothesis. Just as there is a multiplicity of creatures on earth, there can be other beings, even intelligent, created by God.”

The declassified UFO files of the British defense department, according to the Philippine Daily Inquirer news item, included a 1983 report from a 78-year-old man out fishing at midnight who followed aliens in green overalls to their spaceship and was told to go away because he was too old and decrepit for their purpose. The ministry has files of 11,000 sightings dating back to 1950’s. The existence of aliens from outer space visiting earth has consistently been officially denied by the US military establishment up to now, despite massive evidence to the contrary. This, despite the opinion of some highly respected American astronomers, like Dr. J. Allen Hynek of Yale University who believes in the possibility of intelligent alien life forms in other galaxies.

I believe in UFO’s because I’ve personally seen several such space crafts myself. And I have read about very credible stories told by authorities and professional people who have no reason to make up such stories about them. Some of the opposition for such belief in alien existence is religious in nature. Now that a Vatican astronomer himself has expressed belief in aliens, this should dispel some doubts about their reality.

Actually, even the Christian Bible itself gives a very vivid account of an alien encounter by the prophet and priest Ezekiel which is related in the very first chapter of this part of the Bible.

ET in America

About 15 years ago, an American graduate student in San Francisco wrote a Ph.D. thesis showing that aliens have been living on earth for hundreds of thousands of years now and have adopted earth personalities and habits. In his book “From Elsewhere, Being ET in America,” researcher Scott Mandelkar even included a questionnaire which would indicate whether one is an alien or not.

In my Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation seminar, I have come across at least two students of mine whose past lives were not from earth but from some other galaxies in outer space. Many times, such aliens among us have contributed new knowledge or invented new products that would help ease life on the planet.

I have been told that the Vatican keeps in its secret vaults a skull of an alien with big head and diamond-shaped eyes. Somebody in fact had sent me a picture of such mysterious skull through my cell phone. It is of course very difficult to verify the veracity of such a picture but it looks like the usual image we have of ET’s.

Erich Von Daniken in the 1950’s or 60’s was the first to popularize belief of alien visitation of earth through his very popular books, beginning with “Chariots of the Gods.” The book was even made into a movie and created a cult following. But Daniken was later criticized by serious scholars for his questionable research, methodology and for his tendency to exaggerate his findings to fit his preconceived theories.

Other authors followed suit and made their own research. One of them was Andrew Thomas who wrote the book “We are Not the First” which showed that some ancient peoples already had invented computers, batteries, electricity and even airplane models.

Alien abduction stories began appearing in the west. They tell of how creatures from outer space abducted them, examined them in their laboratories and then erased their memories of the abduction. Through hypnosis, they remembered everything. One of the most celebrated alien abductions was that of Betty and Barney Hill. Their story is told in a book entitled “Interrupted Journey” by John G. Fuller. Then came journalist Whitely Strieber’s books on the same theme, beginning with “Communion,” about his close encounters with alien creatures who had abducted him and brought him to their spaceships.

In the Philippines there are also numerous sightings of UFO’s in the sky but rarely do I hear of alien abduction of Filipinos. It seems the aliens visiting the west are different from those visiting the Philippines and other Asian countries. Here we do not experience cattle mutilations or aliens experimenting on humans. We are lucky in this sense.

Trip to Poland full of surprises

My second trip to Poland last April 24 to May 7 was full of surprises, pleasant and unpleasant.

The unpleasant ones were due to the sudden changes in visa application procedures arising from the membership of Poland in the European Union, resulting in delays in processing of papers. Because of such delays, my wife and I missed our flight and the seminars I was to conduct in Poland were postponed twice.

Also, my wife didn’t make it to the trip, the number of people who were supposed to attend went down.

The good news is that all the four seminars I conducted were a complete success—the Basic ESP and Intuition Development, Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, and the Advanced ESP and Mediumship Training.

All these, except the last one, were held at the fabulous Pope John Paul II Museum in Warsaw which houses some 450 original paintings and sculptures by great artists of the 14th to the 20th century—Rembrandt, Reubens, Van Dyck, Titian, Van Gogh, Rodin, Dali, and Picasso.

About 60 persons attended my ESP seminars and about half of that in the other seminars. The least number of attendees was the Advanced ESP seminar, which was purposely limited to those who are really interested in advanced studies of the esoteric sciences and metaphysical knowledge. “We could have had double those numbers,” said Irena Galinska, president of the Institute of Valeology in Poznan, my host, “if your seminars had not been postponed twice.”

Some of the participants came as far as 300 kms away, such as Poznan and Krakow, others all the way from Germany and England.

ESP seminar

In the Basic ESP and Intuition Dev’t seminar, many participants performed the psychic reading and diagnosis, psychometry and remote viewing exercises very well, much to their amazement.

In the remote viewing exercise, 90% of the participants succeeded in describing details of the house of their partners whom they had never met. Six of 60 bent a metallic spoon with their minds, and about 12 or 13 moved a small object through telekinesis.

These may not be big percentages but enough to convince anyone of the tremendous untapped powers of the human mind.

A big surprise for me was in the psychometry exercise where participants were asked to describe the person they did not know by simply holding an object inside an envelope, such as a finger ring, earring, pendant or necklace. The feedbacks were fantastic!

Soulmates, Karma

In the Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation seminar, a number saw their past lives very vividly during the hypnotic regressions. Most saw only vague outlines or figures. The percentage of success I got during this seminar was much less than what I normally get in the Philippines and I attribute this to the language problem. The translator they assigned was not very good.

The Creative Thinking and Problem Solving one-day class was the first I ever held outside the Philippines. Participants had a lot of fun doing creative exercises.

Here they learned how to do Brain Storming to generate original ideas, how to solve problems creatively through the Synectics Method and other idea-generating techniques such as Attribute Listing and Checklists.

The great appeal of the seminars in Warsaw was evident in the fact that many participants in the Basic ESP course also enrolled in succeeding seminars.

Books in Polish

One other good news is that two of my books came out in Polish when I was there—“The Magicians of God” with Muslim healer Warka Adala on the cover and “Soulmate, Karma and Reincarnation.” The latter was almost sold out during the Basic ESP seminar and Irena had to order more copies from Poznan .

Another Polish publisher will publish two of my other books later this year—“Understanding the Psychic Powers of Man” and “More Encounters with the Unknown.”

A classic psychic powers book

MANILA, Philippines—In the first printing of the book, I asked a lady friend if she could pose naked for the cover. Just out of fun, she agreed to do it, provided her face would not be shown and that her identity would not be revealed. I asked well-known photographer Toch Arellano to take the photo and the rest was history.

The book has since become a classic in the field and in book-publishing history.

Why the book had such staying power may be attributed to the following factors:

First, it fulfilled a hunger of the Filipino public for rational and credible answers to many questions regarding psychic experiences that could not be explained by either science or religion.

Second, it was written in a very simple and easily understood language. Even elementary and high-school students could read the book and understand it. Every new word I used was explained simply and with examples. I even provided a glossary of terms at the end of the book.

Third, I found out that some professors of psychology and English literature in several schools, such as San Beda College, University of the Philippines and Perpetual Help College in Las Piñas, recommended the book as collateral reading material to their students. One faculty member also required his students to read my column in the newspaper and discussed it in class.

Many students began to write term papers and theses about ESP or psychic powers for their school requirements. And teachers were encouraging such research on these subjects because they themselves were interested in them.

I also discovered later that the book could be found in most school libraries all over the Philippines. My children and later on my grandchildren would suddenly find the book in their school libraries, to my great surprise.

The influence the book has had on the lives of many was simply incredible and really unexpected.

One female doctor, for example, told me in the late ’80s that the book saved her from being confined in the mental hospital.

How? She said she was having strange psychic experiences she could not understand and which no medical specialist could explain. She was seeing spirits and hearing voices. She thought she was going crazy, then she read the book and learned there were people who possessed such powers. It didn’t mean they were hallucinating. She found out she was clairvoyant. She could see and hear things others could not. Then she studied pranic healing and became a pranic healer as well as teacher of this healing modality.

Another person wrote me a very interesting story of how he got hold of my book. He was a junk dealer and buyer of old newspapers and magazines. One day, he saw a small book among the pile of old newspapers. Its cover had already been torn, but he got curious and started reading it. He found the subject matter very interesting. It was my book “Understanding the Psychic Powers of Man.” He was so fascinated by the book that he said he read it over and over again. When he read my name in the newspaper with my address in it, he decided to write me to tell me how he found the book among the old newspapers he was about to sell. He thanked me for the knowledge he had acquired about the subject.

When the book ceased to be published in 1998, people still kept looking for it. It became a collector’s item. Some who wanted to have a complete collection of all my books, which after 20 years number 15, had the first book photocopied. One of those who found my works so fascinating that he had to have a complete collection was the former Nigerian Ambassador to the Philippines, Dada Olisa. Another was a Russian healer and researcher named Yuri Vedov, who also had the original book photocopied.

So after much prodding from my publisher and friends, I decided to revise and update the book for those who never had a chance to read the first book written in this field by a Filipino author. Now this book will soon be available in all branches of National Book Store and PowerBooks.

How psychic powers book came to be

The book “Understanding the Psychic Powers of Man," which I have recently completely revised, has had a long and colorful history. It is the first book of its kind written by a Filipino author. It first came out in commercial book form in 1978 and was in print for 20 long years! It only ceased to be printed in 1998. My publisher, Anvil Publishing, had been asking me to revise it so they could publish a new edition of it but I didn't have time, or the interest to do so until now, 30 years after its first publication.

Let me recall how this book came to be written. In the early 70's after I obtained my Master in Business Management (MBM) degree from the Asian Institute of Management, I went back to my hobby or avocation, namely, doing psychic research and experimentation.

In a few years, I developed enough knowledge about the subject to be considered some sort of an authority on it, although it was far from the impression I had of myself.

Then I noticed that the questions were the same ones being asked wherever I went. I found myself repeating the same answers I had given to others before. So, one day, I thought of summarizing the most significant lessons I had learned from these readings, as well as true-to-life experiences of people who were good enough to share their psychic stories with me.

The summary I wrote grew into a hundred or so pages which the now late Proserfina, wife of officemate Atty. Prescillano Adamos, typed. I printed only 100 copies of the typewritten material and sold them to my friends at cost.

Meantime, I had the mimeographed manuscript displayed at the ESP seminars of Chita Albert-CuUnjieng, in Manila.

One day, Chita's aunt, Telly Albert-Zulueta, former editor of Weekly Women's Magazine, happened to read the manuscript and asked me if I would be interested in having it serialized in the magazine. Although she was no longer connected with the magazine, she would ask the current editor, Luisa Linsangan, to take a look at it. Ms. Linsangan liked it and ran the whole manuscript in four long installments in her magazine. The response from readers was so amazing the editor asked me if I could contribute articles to the magazine on a regular basis. That launched my career as a writer.

Not only that. One day, I received a call from Ben Ramos, whose family owned National Book Store, the largest bookstore chain in the country. He asked me if I would be willing to have my articles in the Weekly Women's Magazine published in book form. After adding two chapters to the series that came out in the women's magazine I asked a friend, Narzalina Lim (who later became Secretary of Tourism under the Cory Aquino administration) to edit the work and fortunately she agreed to do it.

Then I asked the well-known veteran journalist and educator, Maximo V. Soliven, to write the Introduction or Foreword to the book and to my great surprise, he agreed to do it. I also asked a German scientist and parapsychologist, Dr. Alfred Stelter, to comment on the book, which he did.

When the book finally came out in 1978, many prominent people came during the launching.

The book became an instant best seller and it had been reprinted about seventeen times until it ceased publication in 1998 when the publishing arm of National Book Store was absorbed by its sister company Anvil Publishing Corp.

Woman describes partner’s house accurately

The case of Alma is really quite extraordinary. In another exercise, which is called Remote Viewing or Traveling Clairvoyance, I asked each participant to choose a partner he does not know and describe the partner’s house in detail both inside and out. Alma this time chose an elderly woman whom she had never met before.

The information she obtained about her were so accurate that her partner had goose bumps as Alma was describing her house, specially certain details that are not expected. For example, Alma said, “In one of the rooms, there are so many scattered things all over the floor. The whole room is always in disarray.” The elderly woman said she had a special child that’s somewhat retarded who loves to scatter things around. “He pulls down and throw anything he could lay his hands on.”

In other psychic exercises done in the class, like psychometry, telepathy and telekinesis, she also performed remarkably well. I told her she must have had those talents or psychic gifts even before. That’s when Alma started recalling her other remarkable psychic feats, which she thought, were just coincidences or chance events.

For example, in her company, employees could not hide anything from her. And her secretary was present and confirmed everything she told me. One time she suspected that one female employee did not turn in the complete collection for the day so she called the employee but the latter denied it. So, Alma made a thorough audit of that day’s transactions and discovered that the employee had indeed pocketed P7,000 worth of company money, as a result of which she lost her job.

Materializes photocopies of document
But the most remarkable story Alma told me, which was confirmed by her secretary who witnessed the whole thing, was when Alma without intending it materialized 10 photocopies of a paper she wanted copied in their copying machine.

Alma had a piece of paper on top of a chair across her desk. She asked the secretary to have ten copies of that paper copied on the Xerox machine located a few meters away from her desk. The machine had no more paper so the secretary placed enough blank bond papers into the tray and closed it. Alma told her to Xerox the paper lying on the chair. When the secretary was about to get the paper from the chair, the Xerox machine started pouring out printed copies of that paper which never left the chair.

The secretary almost fainted out of fear because Alma never touched that paper or machine, neither did she move from where she was seated. This is a case of materialization. And this is the first time I’ve heard it done unconsciously or unintentionally.

I told Alma we still don’t know the whole range or extent of her remarkable psychic powers. Only time can tell. But she has taken the right step in trying to understand and to control her tremendous psychic gifts by reading books and attending seminars on them.

She didn't know she's a psychic

All of us possess hidden mental powers we are normally not aware of. Sometimes, such powers manifest themselves in extraordinary ways that surprise us, and yet we dismiss these as mere coincidence.

We have discovered such extraordinary people in the many years we've been conducting seminars to develop man's psychic powers and inner consciousness.

Recently in Cagayan de Oro City, a businesswoman in her 40s named Alma, surprised everybody, including herself, with the wide range of psychic feats she was able to perform flawlessly during our ESP Development seminar. From the first psychic exercise to the last, she scored perfect hits.

In the first exercise, I asked the participants to choose somebody in the room whom they had never met. They were to ask the full name of their partner, nothing more. I helped them achieve a deep level of mental and physical relaxation through deep breathing and guided meditation.

Good medical intuitive
Their eyes closed, I asked each of them to focus his attention on his partner's name and/or face, scan the body from head to foot and just observe and write down whatever came to their mind.

What Alma "saw" in her mind's eye and which she told her partner:
"You have a problem with your left ear."
"Yes," said her partner. "I recently had an operation in my left ear."
"You don't like soup or liquid food. You prefer dry food."
"That's right," agreed her partner, "I don't like soup."
"You have a mole or a dark mark on the top left of your head."
"That's correct," she said.
"You also have irregular menstruation and your menstrual flow is not strong."
"That's also right," she smiled. "I have very little blood during my menstrual period and it's irregular."
"Something's wrong with your liver. And specially your uterus. There's some dried blood. You have to have this checked. Some blood didn't go out and could be infecting your body."
"That's right." her partner said, "my doctor advised me two years ago to have this checked but I kept postponing it."
"You also have a cavity in your molar," Alma said.
"That's right," her partner giggled. "I have a cavity there."

Alma couldn't believe she got everything correct about her partner's health condition. I told her partner she should immediately have herself medically checked.

That was an exercise in psychic reading and diagnosis that I ask every student to do before they even get acquainted with each other, to prove that everybody has psychic powers, even those who don't believe in such things.

Many of them are able to tell something that's really in the person's body like a mole, scar or birthmark. Sometimes, a personality trait or an emotional problem is the information sensed by a partner; other times a traumatic incident.

But almost everybody is able to tell something that the partner confirms to be true about him or her although the two had never met until then.

There’s a reason we meet again people we met in a past life

This is the continuation of Christina’s story after she attended my Soulmates, Karma and Reincarnation seminar.

“I attended your SKR seminar last March 8. I was the one whom you said was brave enough to join the seminar although the topic was against her family’s ultra conservative Catholic beliefs. I did not share what I saw during the seminar’s second regression, but I’d like to tell you my experience in it.

“In the first scene, I saw my subject (participants are asked to choose anybody they like to use as subject during the regression with a mate or lover) as a young man in a striped shirt with a beret, probably an English setting. He was very happy to see me and extended his hand to me so we could cross the bridge. He was excited that I was crossing the bridge with him.

“In the second scene, I saw him walking with me, but he seemed to be on a lower platform, but still he was happy to see me.

“In the last scene, I couldn’t see his face. I just saw that he was wearing a suit and hat. I was clinging to his arms and once in a while leaning on him. I was the one who felt so good this time. I felt very happy. I didn’t want to loosen my grip on his arm. The dresses and cobbled stones looked like Fort Santiago.

“But when you said to look at the last scene when we were together and how we separated during that lifetime, I saw him walk away from me without even looking back. He rode a vehicle that was waiting for him. There were people in that vehicle, and there was also a woman there.

“I do not know whether those people were passengers or his family or another woman in his life. I was crying, wailing in fact! Somebody was pulling me away so I couldn’t reach him. It was as though somebody was embracing me from behind to pull me back.

“I could feel the terrible pain of separation, that’s why I was crying during that time.
“This last scene, which I assume was during the Spanish era, made sense to me because when he was here during this present lifetime, for reasons I don’t understand, we’d always send text messages to each other in Spanish. He would tell me ‘Te quiero,’ ‘es muy linda,’ etc., to which I’d text back in Spanish also. This just dawned on me while I was about to go home after your seminar. Still in pain

“I am still in pain after your seminar, because I feel so much for this person. I don’t know why he walked away from me back then, only to see me again this time when time and circumstance would not allow us to be together. As you explained, we are fulfilling our karma to the persons we are with now.

“In this current lifetime we promised each other to definitely see each other again—and that frightens me, because I know that it may not happen in this lifetime, but probably in the next—but I don’t want this pain anymore. I want us to meet under happy circumstances. Do you think it is possible? And if this lifetime is the right time for us to be together, because we still profess our love for each other no matter the distance (he lives abroad with his family), are we drawing bad karma?

“Your seminar has answered some of the questions I have been asking. I hope to attend other seminars you are conducting for my further enlightenment. ”

I thanked Christina for sharing her experience during the SKR seminar and told her, “If you love somebody, let him go; if he comes back, he’s yours. If he does not, he never was.”

There is always a reason we meet again the same people we met in the past. There are certain soul lessons each of us must learn. Perhaps letting go is one of them, I told Christina.

“If you are meant to be together in this lifetime,” I wrote her, “then circumstances will conspire to make this happen. But if not, there’s nothing you can do about it, but to accept your fate gladly and without reservations, knowing that this is not the only lifetime you can be together. There is infinity ahead of you, think about that.”

Christina replied: “I now realize why I met him again in this lifetime: to be able to let him know that the feeling is mutual, unlike when I turned him down when we were in high school. This alone is very comforting for me.”

“I have told him what I experienced in your seminar and he said that explains why the attraction was so strong.

“I am slowly getting back my peace, and my mind is set to cut off any communications with him. I just don’t know how to start because I don’t want to hurt his feelings, but in due time I will do that.”

Married woman puzzled by rekindled high school love

A married woman in her 40’s, Christina (not her real name), wrote me about a high school love that had long been forgotten until it was rekindled 30 years later. What complicated things and caused guilt and fear is that her family belonged to an ultra conservative, militant Christian Charismatic movement. My columns have made her curious about reincarnation—how she and her lover may have been intimately connected in previous lives.

She married late, at 30, and now has a son and “a very responsible” husband. She said she led a quiet life until she met again her first love in high school.

“After graduation, I never heard anything about him, except that he got married early to a woman much older than he.”

After 30 years she saw him again. Something happened that she could not understand, “My knees trembled at the first sight of him.”

That fateful meeting led to something more serious. “I knew what we were doing was wrong, and I attempted to end it, but we always ended making up.

“He told me of places they had stayed in and I was surprised that I had lived in the same area during that time. One time, I was waiting for a bus when a car almost hit me. I learned it was he trying to get my attention, but didn’t have the nerve to approach me. He never saw me again after that because I moved offices. But we managed to continue with our affair, seeing each other whenever we could, but regularly texting and making phone calls.

“We are still in touch with each other. I do not have the heart to end our relationship. I would like to believe that in our past lives we may have had a connection with each other.”

Common case

Christina’s case is not unique.

There are reasons we relate to another person in either a loving or hateful manner. Unless we understand the workings of karma and reincarnation, we will not be able to understand such behavior.

Can soulmates be of the same sex?

Can soulmates be of the same sex? This is the essence of the question I received recently from a “discreetly gay” reader whose name we shall withhold:

“As a young man during the 80s, I have always been interested in the paranormal. I have always believed in things like soulmates, karma, and reincarnation. I even became a member of the Rosicrucian for a while. I had to stop when materials coming from them had trouble reaching me in Saudi Arabia.

“I am now 48 years old. I am one of those whom you would call ‘discreet gays.’ Very recently I met a young man, 24, half my age. Although he is straight and is much younger than I am, we jibe so well and we could feel that we're on the same wave-length, so to speak.

“Our relationship is going so well—romantically, emotionally, spiritually, sexually and psychologically, that I am inclined to believe that we are soulmates, something that I’ve felt right from the very start but never told him. How surprised was I when one day, out of the blue, it was he who said that, perhaps, we are indeed soulmates.

“Our lives seem to run parallel with each other. We have almost the same life story, the same woes, the same problems. We even have so many similar characteristics and many things about us are the same. And one of the most surprising things is that we’re both Scorpios and both born in the year of the Pig.

“What could this all mean?”

“I have always prayed that one day I would meet a certain person that would have all the qualities that I hope for. That person I created in my mind has materialized in his being.

“Before I met him, many things contributed to making my life miserable and sad. I used to be a very positive person during my younger years but as I grew older, negativism and pessimism had set in. When I met him, everything changed. He has brought meaning, positivism, and inspiration to my life.

“His being a very optimistic person reminded me so much of my old self.

“Who could he be? I hope, indeed, my soulmate.

“I would appreciate your thought on my case. Thank you very much.”

Intertwined destinies

To answer your question, let us first understand what soulmates are, for there are several different definitions of the term. According to the American psychic and prophet, Edgar Cayce, who first spoke about soulmates in the 1930’s while in deep trance, soulmates are two souls who, after a series of lifetimes together, become so close to each other that their destinies become intertwined. They help each other evolve to a higher level of soul evolution, until they reach perfection and union with God.

From the above definition we can glean that soulmates are perfect partners who help each other attain a higher level of spiritual development which could not otherwise be achieved by being with another person. The main purpose therefore of a soulmate encounter is mutual help towards perfection, or union with God.

We seldom meet and marry our perfect partner or soulmate in a single lifetime. It takes many lifetimes of earth existence to develop such closeness with another human being. The reason for this is that we still have to work out our karma with other people and our soulmate also has to work out his or her karma with other individuals. When they are done with such obligations or have paid off their karmic debts with others, then soulmates will definitely meet and be married to each other. From that lifetime onwards they will always be together until they achieve perfection and union with God.

Before that happens, the two may be involved with other partners or with other people with whom they have to settle some karmic obligations. They may even be of the same sex. But they are not, strictly speaking, soulmates. They may be called “soulmates in the making,” a term I have used to refer to those whose lives are evolving together with another in a very intimate and soul satisfying manner. I believe that in the end, when the two souls are ready for each other, they would be male and female, because one needs the help of the other in all aspects of their being. This is the Yin (female)-Yang (male) combination in Eastern philosophy that creates the whole.

Cayce compares a soulmate relationship with either “a torque to the groove,” or with “a tenon to a mortise.” Torque and groove are two aspects of the same metal when twisted. A tenon is a protrusion or extension, which perfectly fits an opening called a mortise. So there can only be one soulmate for each of us, but we can have several karmic partners in a given lifetime.

Did Jesus also have past lives?

The Catholic religion, to which majority of Filipinos belong, has always emphasized the divinity or divine origin of Jesus Christ. “Jesus is our Lord and our God,” intone the faithful. And every Christian evangelist of every denomination has been harping on that same message since the time of Paul, the Apostle.

The divinity and godhead of Jesus has been so much ingrained in our collective psyches that we often forget and sometimes even comes as a shock to some of us, that Catholic dogma also says that he is truly man at the same time.

God cannot die, but as man, Jesus suffered and died. This is what Holy Week is all about, the remembrance of Jesus’ suffering and passion. It is only at this time of the year in fact that the whole of Christendom remembers the humanness of Jesus.

And as a true human being, he must have also gotten hungry and ate like any other man. And like other human beings, he must have also urinated and moved his bowels. What’s wrong with that? Nothing! It’s just that we never think of Jesus as also human.

As a man, he must have fallen in love also. And there is sufficient evidence, particularly in the Nag Hammadi texts, which were discovered in 1945 in Nag Hammadi, Upper Egypt, that he had some romantic relationship with Mary Magdalene. Some authors even go to the extent of asserting that the two got married and produced a child. But there is no evidence for this theory.

Reincarnations

Now, the next question is, if Jesus were truly man, did he also undergo a series of reincarnations on earth?

Yes, according to the American psychic and prophet, Edgar Cayce, who, while in a deep trance, revealed that Jesus had undergone some 30 previous incarnations before becoming the Christ.

It is a revelation that the awake Cayce could not accept. Being a very devout Christian lay preacher and Sunday school teacher, he could not believe what he himself had said while in a trance. He considered such a notion as heretical and that’s why for two long, agonizing months, he stopped all his trance readings until he could figure out and got convinced the message was not coming from the dark side or from the devil himself.

Who did the sleeping Cayce say Jesus were in his past lives? He mentioned only several of them. Jesus first came on earth as Amilius, an incarnation in spirit form only. Then he was Adam, the first physically created man, according to Genesis. Then he was Enoch, a man who “walked with God,” according to the Bible. Then he was Melchizedeck, a priest and prophet at the time of Abraham. Then he was Joseph, a son of Jacob, who was sold in slavery by his brothers. Then he was Joshua, the successor to Moses who led the Israelites into Promised Land. Then he was Asaph, the chief musician and seer in King David’s court. Then he was Jeshua, a priest who helped re-establish the worship of God after the Israelites’ return from captivity in Babylon. Then he was Zend, father of the religious leader, Zoroaster. Then he was Jesus, the Christ.

There were also trance readings of Cayce which hinted that Hermes, a god of Ancient Egypt, may also have been an early incarnation of Jesus, as well as Buddha, the Enlightened One. But these personalities were not explicitly identified by Cayce.

Puzzling statements

If it is true that Jesus underwent several previous incarnations, then it can help explain some puzzling statements made by Jesus as mentioned in the Christian Bible.

For example, consider the following passage from John (8:56-58):

“Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see the day of my coming; he saw it and was glad.” Then the Jews said to him, “You are not even 50 years of age and you have seen Abraham?”

“Jesus said to them, ‘I am telling you the truth, before Abraham was, I am.’”

Why did he say that before Abraham was even born he was already there?

If what Cayce said was correct, that Jesus was at one time Melchizadeck who lived during the time of Abraham, then what Jesus said makes sense. He was indeed already there even before Abraham was born. He must have known his past incarnation as Melchizadeck.

I realize that many people in this conservative Christian country do not accept the concept of reincarnation, much less apply it to Jesus Christ. For the word “reincarnation” cannot be found in the Bible. But as Cayce clearly pointed out, “One can read reincarnation in the Bible and another can read it out again.”
